"Dance is your pulse, your heartbeat, your breathing. It's the rhythm of your life. It's the expression in time and movement, in happiness, joy, sadness and envy.  Dancers aren't made of their technique, but their passion.  Mrs. Morscher has always taught me that when I am on the stage I should dance for the audience and no one else.  She has taught me so many things I can't even begin to write dow.  All I know is I am truly thankful that I had the chance to experience every moment with her."

006 Anna Li
Anna trained at RSB for 8 years as a student and original youth company member.  She was a member of the fourth place Handel Suites at the YAGP competition and has held most principal and soloist roles in The Nutcracker, Facades, Onda 9, Scherzo, Swan Lake, Paquita, and the Gershwin Preludes. She also was an assistant teacher for Ballet I and II for one year.

She is a National Merit Finalist studying Pre-Medical Health at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA with a double major in chemistry and psychology. She is a choreographer for the student-run Dancers’ Symposium at CMU and continues to take dance classes whenever she can both in Pittsburgh and at RSB.

RSB was a second home to me, as I grew up with all of the staff constantly supporting and teaching me, shaping me into the person I am today.  I learned more than dance at RSB; I was taught determination, perfection, practice, discipline, expression, and most of all to go for my dreams.”
